They Hold no Truth to be Self-Evident

Last weekend I had the opportunity to speak with an associate about the troubles in our times.

I tend to analyze things and break them down to their basic points. Sometimes this leaves people with the idea that I have taken a notion too far, I am too extreme. People argue that things will never get that bad.

The phrase the “slippery slope” is often thrown around in these types of discussions. The hope is that we will never slide down into the worst case scenario.

My point is always that our society has now collapsed as a nation. We are no longer on the slippery slope and my associate wanted to argue to the contrary. I hold to my position because as a nation we not only no longer speak the truth but even argue there is no truth.

We now say we must lie to each other to be good people. For example, you tell me something I know not to be true, such as you are now a different sex. I must agree with your false belief and support you with it, both in private and in business. I must give witness that I support the falsity that you are living.

One of our first founding documents is the Declaration of Independence. In it we state, “We hold these truths to be self-evident”. Today, in our society, we hold no truths to be self-evident.

As I was debating with my associate I kept reminding him that I now identity was a woman. My readers probably know that I am a man but my point was and is the absurdity of today's society. After about the third time I told him I was a woman, he actually said” I get your point.” We no longer are on the slippery slope rather we have sky-rocket to the bottom.

The most self-evident truths are now rejected. As a nation the United States was formed on God given truths. On these truths a republic was born, and on the denial of these truths our republic has died.

Over the past decades there have been numerous Catholic prophecies that warned of communism. As the Soviet Union dissolved under the weight of free enterprise and free speech I thought how these warnings and prophecies were “outdated.”

Yet, here we are in the United States of American where communism is stronger than it ever was before. Entire segments of our society support socialism, the primer to communism. Communism itself has found new ground in organizations which replace the mantra of economic disparity with racial injustice.

People have given up their freedoms, their faiths and their free speech in a little over a year.

The danger of communism has never been an economic or social peril, but rather a moral peril.

Communism rejects God, the source of all truth. It’s focus is the power of the State and “truth” is a dictate of the state. To accomplish communism we must reject truth, we must reject God.

We are now in a moral abyss where the truth of God is denied and every believer is persecuted.

You might say, “No, I would never deny God” but your silence on these issues speaks for you.

We speak of “cancel culture” but what is it really? In many cases it is now a public shunning and bullying of people who speak the truth. We have bullied a nation into the support of popular lies. You can think what you want but if you speak against the lies of today you are punished. That is now the law. Communism at its finest.

Social platforms regulated free speech in the name of Government truth, yet a year later we found they bore false witness against honest researchers.

As our society now quickly unravels under this mountain of falsehoods and we see the results. We have just suffered from a terrible virus, that for the most part was created by man. When the United States was blaming China last year, China of course said maybe we made this virus. Well the facts show both were correct. Our arrogance supported and funded research that helped kill millions of people. Then we turned to a “vaccine” whose design was made using the cells of children we have murdered. A “vaccine” supported by the same people who helped bring you the virus.

So how do we live and survive in a society that is so corrupt, that has collapsed? We must focus on real truth as revealed by God. As a Catholic and Christian my advice is to pray the rosary and ask for the intervention of the Mother of Mankind.

These problems have evolved over the decades. Well, some problems take “decades” to solve. Pray the “decades” of the rosary. Pray for the truth of God to enlighten all those who ask for it. Pray for your family and your friends and those who do not understand you.

These times were predicted by many before us. Good is now called Evil and Evil is now called Good. We are in a spiritual battle like never before. I believe in, and trust in God. I hold His truth to be self-evident.
