He is already here

The Lantern Vol. 58

When I write these blogs I hope to enlighten my readers of things I have read, perceived or researched and understood.  A few blogs ago, I mentioned that we could most certainly be living in a time prophesied in scripture and from mystics in the past century. These prophecies relay some type of intervention by God is necessary because of man’s rejection of Him  

There were no greater recent spiritual signs than when the Catholic Church denied God during the pandemic. Francis, our Peter, relieved His role and denied Him over and over running from God to man. Closing the Churches and denying the sacraments to those in need.  Love your neighbor meant shun your neighbor, everyone for themselves. These signs continue with each additional heretical document or statement issued. The prophecies are fulfilled in our hearing, with priest against priest and now bishop against bishop including the pope. We were told we would be persecuted for our faith. Now, almost everywhere, if you do not publicly bear false witness you can lose your job. We just call it “woke.” So many stand idly by encouraging people with mental illness because they do not have the integrity to say the simplest of truths. You are a man or a woman. It is the fog of spiritual war spreading confusion and error.  

The physical world erupts and revolts around us with storms and floods, hurricanes and earthquakes. Plagues of sickness and locusts. 

 Now, here come the heavenly signs. In just days, we will witness a solar eclipse and at the same time the “devils comet” and massive solar flares whose electromagnetic influences pull the northern lights into the view of untold millions.

The events coincide with Divine Mercy Sunday and the eclipse is on the Catholic Feast of the Annunciation, which occurs this year on Monday on account of this Easter season's timing.  The eclipse will pass through Jonah and several cities called Nineveh. What was the message of Jonah? Forty days more and Nineveh will be destroyed. Forty days from this Monday is the feast of Pentecost where the Holy Spirit descended in the Apostles.  

Many people see all of these signs and the internet is a blaze with similar signs and theories.  I think I mentioned this story before. When I taught religion to children I asked them what would they do if they saw Jesus walking down the street with the world disappearing behind Him.  Would we run to confession, repent, pray?  What if He is coming, or what if God is sending His angels to help us or chastise us?   I do think many people are preparing and looking to God.   But guess what?  I am sitting in front of the Blessed Sacrament as I write this blog.  Surprise! He is already here.  He sacrificed Himself not to die and leave us but to stay and live forever in our tabernacles; our bodies. So my brothers and sisters, do not prepare for some future but prepare for and accept the now. Go to confession and speak up against evil. Do not bear false witness and do not be afraid of His coming. Only God knows the timing of His interventions and yes, the signs are all around us, but the good news is … He is already here!
